Montrealin biodiversiteettikokouksessa onnistuttiin sopimaan maailmanlaajuiset tavoitteet luonnon monimuotoisuuden suojelemiseksi. Montreal oli jatkoa Kiinan Kunmingin kokoukselle, josta kirjoitin aiemmin.
